Teen Reviews: The Shifter by Janice Hardy

I thought that this book was very intense and unique. It felt different than any book I've ever read before because it held new ideas. I look forward to Healing Wars:Book 2!

Teen Review: The Mediator: Shadowland by Meg Cabot

This book was amazing, at 287 pages of pure genius. It is entertaining and beautiful and has the perfect mix of romance, adventure and sci-fi for my liking.

Over on the right side of the blog, we've added a handy calendar of events so you can stay up-to-date on the latest happenings here in TeenSpace!

Right now, it's full of information about our weekly raffle drawings. How do you enter the raffle? Simply join the summer reading club, Make Waves @ Your Library, and start reading to earn those raffle tickets! Then, turn in your tickets by 5pm each Friday to be entered in that week's drawing for tons of cool prizes.

We've been quiet here at TeenSpace lately because we've been busy getting ready for our summer reading program, Make Waves @ Your Library, which starts next Tuesday, June 29th.




We're very excited to announce that one of the awesome prizes you can win this year is a beach parking pass for 2011! These passes usually cost $150! Pass holders may park in all beach parking lots from Beach Boulevard to the Huntington Beach Municipal Pier. The pass is also valid at off-street metered lots on the ocean side of Goldenwest Street, adjacent to the Warner Fire Station Boat Ramp and the meters from Beach Boulevard to the border of Bolsa Chica State Beach, and in the Pier Plaza Parking Lots.

We hope to see you here next Tuesday to sign up for the reading program!

We're looking for responsible teens to help us in the Children's Department AND in TeenSpace. You may hand out prizes, shelve books, read aloud to kids, and so much more!
