Teen Book Review: Great Expectations

Title: Great Expectations

Author: Charles Dickens

Rate It: 3.5 out of 5

Review It: Great Expectations was an okay book. The plot was quite interesting to unravel, but I found that Dickens' style of writing was difficult to decipher. His flamboyant descriptions were quite showy, and I thought they were very unnecessary and made the book much thicker than it was supposed to be.

Teen Book Review: Dear John

Title: Dear John
Rate It: 3/5
Review It: It was an ok book. The beginning and middle of the book were very good, but it had a poor ending. The way he (the author) talked about love and fate really got the point across.
